“It begins with a thank you for what is, a remembering that all of it is temporary, none of it guaranteed – every last bit of it precious” // Julia Fehrenbacher
“Today it feels so simple: we are here to take care of each other. How could we ever forget? As if soil could forget it is here to feed the trees. As if trees could forget they are here to feed the soil. How could anything ever get in the way of generosity? How could we ever greet each other with any other words besides, ‘How can I help you’? As if light could forget it is here to illuminate. As if dark could forget it is here to help us heal.” // Rosemary Wahtola Trommer
As an artist I draw inspiration from nature. Through semi-abstract depictions of lush seaside vegetation, ocean waves, and the celestial dance of the sun and moon, I aim to capture the vibrancy of the world around me, while exploring various themes within the spectrum of human existence.
In each new piece I embark on a journey of discovery, constantly pushing myself to challenge the limits of my artistic practice and skill. I love to play with colour and texture, experimenting with different brushstrokes and techniques to create something truly unique. Ultimately, my art is an expression of my personal journey, as I seek to understand and connect more deeply with this life.
“I am seeking. I am striving. I am in it with all my heart” // Vincent Van Gogh
